I delivered the Jumu'ah Khutbah on Lessons from the Life & Times of Isa (Jesus) عليه السلام at the British Muslim Heritage Centre in #Manchester.
An amazing story in the #Quran, full of unique life lessons for us and a personal favourite. I discussed the following points and the lessons therein;
1. Miraculous birth to his mother #Maryam
2. His life as a #Prophet of #Allah
3. His #Message & #Miracles
4. He was not killed nor was he crucified
5. His #return
Highlighting the Ayah;
“It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.”
~ Al-Qur'an [19:35]
I have also conducted a researched presentation on his life which has been very beneficial in my discussions with #Christian, #Jew as well as #Muslim brothers and sisters over the years Alhamdulillah.
