Usman Abdullah Malik is an Islamic Lecturer, Islamic Finance Executive and Philanthropist with a vision to revive the legacy of Islam. As the Founder and CEO of Al Dinar (الدينار), he delivers lectures and seminars on Islamic Finance and Economics at various institutes, provides advice to individuals and organisations and conducts research on the role of Zakat and Waqf (Endowment) on Economic Development. The efforts have played an integral part in helping charitable organisations, launching high-impact projects and supporting those in need. He serves as a Board Advisor with organisations to help humanity worldwide. As a student of Islamic knowledge, Usman conducts ongoing study and research in Islamic studies. He is also often invited to deliver Khutbahs and lectures at Masjids and has appeared on TV Channels and other platforms to share his reflections. He has also embarked on international tours for conferences, charitable projects and the Pilgrimage of Hajj and Umrah.

Speaking extensively on Islam since 2010 (1431 AH). Began by establishing and leading Friday prayers along with delivering Khuṭbas (sermons) on the campus at Xaverian College as the President of 'Muslims at Xaverian' on a weekly basis. He has since gone on to speak at more than 50 platforms over the last decade upon invitation by charities, institutes, mosques, organisations and universities. Focusing on Dawah (inviting to Allah) by deriving life-changing lessons through research and reflection. His objective is to contextualise the knowledge and make it relevant to the youth in the 21st Century by referring to classical and contemporary scholars with a long-term vision to develop Muslims.

Advocating the sincere worship of Allah ﷻ - the one true God; without association of any partners with Him - لا إله إلا الله. Usman's methodology for understanding Islam as a complete way of life and submission to Allah is based on the Book of Allah (Al-Qur'an) and the Authentic Sunnah of His Final Messenger and Prophet; Abū al-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim al-Qurashi ﷺ in accordance with the ṣaḥābah (companions). He strives to adhere to the Prophetic tradition and takes the middle path in all affairs whilst avoiding all forms of extremism and innovations. He focuses on coming closer to Allah ﷻ through the Beautiful Names and Lofty Attributes of our Lord.
