Usman Abdullah Malik
Usman is the Founder of Al Dinar الدينار with the vision of investing in the worship of Allah. As an Islamic Lecturer, Economist and Philanthropist, He graduated with a First-Class Honours in Economics from the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), and was awarded the 'Star Student' by MMU Business School. Invited by the Dean to deliver guest lectures and seminars at the university, he subsequently incorporated Islamic Finance into the official curriculum based on his research thesis: "Islamic Banking and Finance: Influence on Economic Development ~ A Case Study of the UK."
His academic pursuits extend to studying Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Oxford [Distinction], and ongoing studies seeking Islamic knowledge, engaging with renowned scholars globally covering the following Islamic disciplines:

Beyond academia, his efforts in Zakat, Waqf and Islamic Economic Development have been integral in assisting charitable causes, launching projects and supporting those in need. He actively serves an advisor to Islamic organisations and philanthropists with their Zakat-related matters and has collaborated with 30+ Islamic organisations worldwide from delivering Khutbahs, Islamic lectures and seminars to fundraising and from advising on strategy to managing high-impact projects. He has appeared on TV such as Islam Channel and has travelled to 25+ countries, embarking on international Da'wah tours, conferences, charitable projects and as Guide for the Pilgrimage of Hajj and Umrah.
